VRML, short for Virtual Reality Modeling Lanugage. As opposed to the RL, or the Real World you and I live in...most of the time anyway ;-)
When I first visited a 3D "Gallery" on line many years ago on a friends PC I was hooked...and except for the small fact that my Old reliable Macintosh Quadra didn't have the horsepower to allow me to view any VRML worlds...I was ready to go.
Enter the purchase of a P4 and VRML worlds were mine to explore again! And I also wanted to have go at creating a world or two also.
Below are several worlds for you to explore. Many thanks to all who helped along the way.

Each world can be visited either in a multiuser chat mode or single user exploration mode.

Viewing Instructions for first time visitors: [all of this is run via free vrml software] I have used Internet Explorer 6, 7, & 8 with Blaxxun Contact 5.x with WindowsXP without any issues. Your results may vary! Ready to explore? Then download the VRML plugin Blaxxun Contact to be able to view these worlds.

I have also mirrored the VRML viewing software at this location as a backup to the above original information. Follow instructions on the page.
Having finished the download please close your browser and install the new software. Now you should be ready to go into virtual 3D chat by clicking on any of the "Multiuser Chat" links listed on this page. If you happen to time your visit in the worlds with your friends you will be able to utilize the live text chat feature and explore the worlds together. enjoy!
for those with Mac OS, you can download the
free wrl software from this page.
You will not see anyone in the worlds as this software is simply a vrml viewer. but it's still cool to explore the 3d worlds. Just keep your favorite IM program in a seperate window and chat that way with others that may be in 3d at the same time.
